Drugs and young pregnancy
Praise God, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
Deliverance Church Jamhuri is asking for your prayers. Our church is located in Kibera, Kenya, where many young people in our community are struggling with alcohol, smoking, bhang, drug abuse, and teenage pregnancy.
Please pray for our church and ask God to help us establish a rehabilitation centre where we can support and help these young men and women find freedom and a new direction through Jesus Christ.
Please also pray for the families who depend on selling alcohol and drugs as a source of income. We pray that, after giving their lives to Jesus Christ, God will help them find new and honest ways to support their families.
We believe that God can bring transformation to our community and give young people hope, purpose, and a better future.
Please stand with us in prayer. May God bless you.

Praying against Alcoholism
We are praying over the section of Kibera where alcohol is being produced and sold. We pray for God’s divine intervention to move powerfully throughout this community. May His mighty Holy Spirit reach those who are creating and selling alcohol, touching their hearts and drawing them toward freedom, healing, and a new way of life.
We also pray for those who are purchasing and consuming alcohol. May the Holy Spirit meet them exactly where they are and reveal the depth of God’s love for them. May He break every chain and every curse of alcoholism and bring restoration to individuals, families, and the community as a whole.
Lord, show up in their lives in extraordinary and undeniable ways. Let Your presence be known, and let testimonies of lives transformed by Your love continue to multiply. Give those who have experienced freedom the boldness and courage to share their stories, so that their testimonies may become a source of hope and encouragement for others who are still bound.
May the number of testimonies grow, and may this community become a powerful testimony of Your redeeming love, Your grace, and Your ability to make all things new. Amen.
